The standard requires employers to
monitor employee exposure to acrylonitrile (AN), to provide medical
surveillance, to train employees about the hazards of AN, and to
establish and maintain accurate records of employee exposure to AN.
These records will be used by employers, employees, physicians, and
the Government to ensure that employees are not being harmed by
exposure to AN.
On behalf of this Federal agency, I certify that
the collection of information encompassed by this request complies
with 5 CFR 1320.9 and the related provisions of 5 CFR
1320.8(b)(3).
