FERC-537 information is required by the Commission to evaluate the feasibility of jurisdictional natural gas pipeline proposals that involve the acquisition, construction and/or operation of facilities; provide for initial service (transmission, storage, and/or sales) any change or termination of an existing operation/ service; or involve the abandonment of any existing facility and or service/operation. In addition, the information allows the Commission to monitor the activities that are proposed/authorized FERC-537 reflects the proposed updating of Commission regulations as proposed in Docket No. RM98-9-000 (NOPR issued 09/30/98).
