This ICR is
approved for three years. The agency should take care to ensure in
future extensions of this ICR to appropriately represent capital
costs that have been capitalized over more than three years. Also,
the agency should take care to include in future extensions of this
ICR to include any cyclical reporting, such as NOx compliance
plans. Reduced estimates of burden in this ICR result from reduced
rates of opt-in source applications, revised estimates of source
subcategories subject to Part 75 monitoring, and rule revisions
that streamline reporting schedules, missing data reports, and low
mass emissions monitoring.

program calls for major reductions of the pollutants that cause
acid rain, while establishing a new approach to environmental
management. Respondents include electric utilities, industrial
sources, and other persons.
