Extension without change of a currently approved collection
Prior to the use of each instrument, the agency must complete the attached form, which has been separately provided to the agency paperwork clearance officer. The ITC paperwork official must sign the form and send the survey instrument, form, and answers to Part B of the supporting statement to the OIRA docket. OIRA will review the instrument for no more than two weeks and inform the ITC paperwork official by email when review has been completed, after which the paperwork officer may use OMB number 3117-0116 on the collection instrument.

Generic clearance authority to issue information collections during the course of the Commission's import injury investigations. Specifically, questionnaires are sent to producers, importers, purchasers, and foreign producers of products under investigation. Data from these questionnaires form part of the statistical base for the Commission's determinations. Also, institution notices for the 5-year reviews of certain injury determinations contain requests for information.
