This information collection is needed to assist the COPS Office in monitoring the status of grants funded. The Public Safety and Community Partnership Act of 1994 and Federal regulations and policies require that financial assistance provided by the Federal Government be carefully monitored. The COPs Office seeks to document, on a continuing basis, the progress of our programs and our grantees. COPS Count is the mechanism used to obtain this information.
