This information collection is needed to assist the COPS Office in monitoring the status of grants funded. The Safety & Community Partnership Act of 1994 & Fed. reg. and policies require that financial assistance provided by the Federal Gov. be carefully monitored. The COPS Office seeks to document on a continuing basis the progress of our grantees in hiring and redeploying law enforcement officers funded by COPS. This survey is the mechanism used to obtain this information.
