The circuit status data report is an annual reporting requirement imposed on all facilities-based international common carriers to report their international circuit use data. The information is required under the Omnibus Budget Reconciliation Act of 1993 to verify and monitor the payment of fees for active international 64 Kb/s circuits. The information also is used by the Commission and industry for monitoring for nondiscriminatory provisioning of circuits by U.S. and foreign carriers.
