Vibrio species are naturally occuring
marien bacteria and an important cause of seafoodborne and
wound-associated illnesses. Data collected and study results will
be shared with health officials and representatives of the
Interstate Shellfish Sanitation Conference and National Fisheries
Institute. The FDA has requested these data to identify
interventions that may reduce the burden of seafoodborne
vibriosis.
On behalf of this Federal agency, I certify that
the collection of information encompassed by this request complies
