Abstract: FERC-539 information is required by the Commission under section 3 of the Natural Gas and for Presidential permits under Executive Order No. 10485 for sitting, construction, operation, and modification to natural gas import/export facilities and general regulations applying to holders of such section 3 authorization and Presidential permits. The data are used to determine if an interstate pipeline's filing complies with the regulations and is in the public interest.
