approved for the full three years. As agreed to by the Agency, EIA
will provide, no later than October 31, 2000, an analysis of the
effects on the regulated industry of moving the filing date forward
to March 1. This analysis shall specifically provide the number of
additional companies (using the previous year as a baseline) that
requested an extension, the efficacy of the change in accomplishing
the Agency's objectives, and a brief description of the types of
companies that had difficulty in accomodating the new
deadline.

The Natural Gas Program Package forms
collect basic and detailed natural gas production, processing,
transmission, storage, consumption, and price data. The data is
published by the Energy Information Administration and are used by
both public and private analysts. Respondents include natural gas
pipeline companies, distributors, storage operators, processing
plant operators, and State agencies.
