This is a survey of seafood and industrial fishery processing firms. The form asks the respondent to supply annual volume and value of the processed fishery products and monthly employment figures. The data are used in economic analyses to estimate the capacity and extent of utilization of domestic harvest by U.S. fish processors. The data are necessary to carry out the provisions of the Magnuson-Stevens Fishery Conservation and Management Act (16 U.S.C. 1801 et seq.), as amended. NMFS proposes that all sections of the survey be mandatory for dealers processing summer flounder, scup, black sea bass, Northeast....
