Part 13 of 25 CFR concerns the
jurisdictional authority in child custody cases. The information
requested from the tribes is used to decide the tribe's ability to
exercise their jurisdiction in child custody cases. The tribes
petition for reassumption of jurisdiction and submit a plan for
carrying out the responsibilities of Public Law 95-608 (25 U.S.C.
1952).
