Approved for 1
year. A Departmental Working Group has been convened to improve the
burden estimates for DOT's drug and alcohol testing programs. We
request that an updated analysis for the RSPA program be provided
by October 1, 2000. See also terms of clearance for 2137-0587 and
OIRA-OST (Clarke-Robinson) E-mail of 2/23/00. In respect of drug
testing, a previous terms of clearance 3/3/97 described problems
encountered by respondants, particularly small ones and
contractors, to report drug testing results. The Department's
overall review of its drug testing programs should provide an
opportunity for RSPA to look carefully into this area. RSPA should
report back on the results of this evaluation in its next
information collection request.
