Abstract: Our regulations allow fresh (chilled or frozen) pork\pork products from certain Mexican States to transit the United States under certain conditions, for export to another country. The importation and intransit movement was restricted due to the presence of hog cholera. We determined that pork\pork products can transit the United States under seal with an insignificant risk of introducing hog cholera. We are now proposing to allow poultry carcasses, parts, and products to transit the US under certain conditions for export to another country.
