Seels will provide the first national picture of the experiences and outcomes of students in special education ages 6 through 12 at the outset of the study. The study will inform special education policy development and support GPRA measurement and IDEA reauthorization. Data will be collected 3 times over a 5 year period from the parents, teachers and principals of sample students.
