PISA will collection policy-oriented and internationally- comparable indicators of student achievement in reading, mathematics, and science at the "end" of secondary school on a timely and regular basis (every three years). For comparability with other education systems around the world, 15-year-old students will be assessed in the U.S.. and comparisons of results will be made with approximately 30 countries.
