The agency is
instructed to review all potential sources of financial information
from these respondents and report to OMB prior to submission of
this collection for extension or revision all questions in the
information collection which ask for information otherwise
collected from the respondent by the agency or within the
possession of the agency itself. This report must also describe all
actions the agency will take to streamline this collection to
eliminate questions asking for information available elsewhere
and/or explain why the collection cannot be streamlined to account
for the results of the agency's review. The agency is reminded that
the CIO is responsible for all of the agency's information
resources, regardless of the agency's heirarchy or organization
chart.
