This information collection program provides the EPA with the data necessary to determine whether to issue an experimental use permit under Section 5 of the Federal Insecticide, Fungicide, and Rodenticide Act (FIFRA), as amendment. Section 5 authorizes EPA to issue experimental use permits which allow pesticide companies to termoporarily ship pesticide products for experimental use for the purpose of gathering data necessary to support the applica- tion for registration of a pesticide product.
