Abstract: About 1,500 event sponsors will continue to submit written notice to Coast Guard for events with over 50 participating vessels. About 20 of those also submit additional information, if event needs a permit. CG uses the information to consider impacts on navigation and the environment and develop measures to avoid or reduce those impacts.
