Abstract: As required by 49 U.S.C. 31306, motor carriers must conduct testing of the operators of commercial motor vehicles for use, in violation of law or U.S. Government regulation, of alcohol or a controlled substance. Motor carriers must set up programs, review instructions, collect/validate/verify information, process and maintain information, disclose and provide information,train personnel to collect information, search data sources, complete and review collected information, and transmit or otherwise disclose information.
