Abstract: FERC has amended its regulations under the Federal Power Act to require prospectively the inclusion of a proposed designation on all rate schedule sheets filed with the Commission by public utilities. This rule will streamline rate schedule sheet designation procedures for the Commission and the electric industry. The rule will conform the procedures for identifying public utility tariff filings with those for interstate natural gas and oil pipelines.
