Extension without change of a currently approved collection
This collection
is approved until October 2003. OMB understands that EPA is in the
process of developing several rules that would result in revisions
to this collection and the associated EPA guidance document. EPA
will need to revise this collection as part of those rulemaking
processes. OMB further understands that EPA is exploring improved
means of electronic reporting. EPA should make every effort to have
such mechanisms in place by October 2003 as prescribed by GPEA.
Finally, EPA should add an expiration date and burden statement to
the forms covered by this collection before they are used by the
public.

Renewal of the recordkeeping and
reporting requirements associated with the regulations under 40 CFR
Part 82, Subpart A, regarding the phaseout of controlled
ozone-depleting substan- ces. The recordkeeping and reporting
requirements are to ensure compliance with the limits and
restrictions established by the Montreal Protocal on Substances
that Deplete the Ozone Layer (Protocol) and Title VI of the Clean
Air Act (CAA). The report- ing requirements are designed: (1) to
satisfy US obligations unde the Protocol, in particular Article 7
data requirements; (2) to fulfill statutory obligations under
Section 603(b) of the ...
