Abstract: Under the Recreation Fee Demonstration Program authorized by Congress, the Forest Service wants to adequately respond to the challenge of charging fees for recreation services to recover costs associated with recreation service, to ensure that the visitor has a satisfactory experience, and that we are meeting the visitor's needs. With the goals of increasing efficiency, increasing public support, providing responsive stewardship of our natural resources, achieving quality standards and yielding additional financial resources, it is necessary to make sure we fully understand and orient our programs to existing and future
