Abstract: Participants in the groundfish fishery in the Alaska Region of the Exclusive Economic Zone are require to identify all longline marker buoys on board or in use by the vessel with the vessel's name and either the vessel's Federal fisheries permit number or the vessel's registration number. The information is needed for fishery enforcement purposes.
