collected is an investigation based on nonstandard questions and is
not an information collection. The request for a completed OF-180
is only an information collection if more information than the
deceased's name is required. The agency has also stated that no
fees are collected.

A Report of Death of an American
Citizen Abroad is the official notice of death of a U.S. citizen
abroad required by statute and regulation. It is an administrative
report completed by U.S. consular officers abroad which provides
essential facts concerning the death.
On behalf of this Federal agency, I certify that
