Abstract: Collection of this information used for immigration status confirmation reduces the potential of fraud and abuse caused by ineligible aliens receiving federally subsidized student financial assistance under title IV of the Higher Education Act of 1965, as amended. The respondent population is comprised of 7310 postsecondary institutions who participate in administration of the title IV, HEA programs.
