Abstract: MMS uses this information to determine whether the lessee has correctly classified an oil or gas reservoir. This is an essential control mechanism which MMS uses to regulate production rates from each sensitive reservoir being actively produced. Respondents are OCS Federal oil and gas and sulphur lessees.
