Abstract: In order for MMS to determine whether proper royalties were paid on minerals produced from Indian leases, we must collect information to verify allowable deductions such as oil transportation allowances. The information collected will be use used to evaluate the accuracy and reasonableness of transportation allowances deducted from royalties received for the sale of Indian oil.
