Abstract: In order to MMS to determine whether proper royalties were paid on minerals produced from Indian leases, we must collect information to verify allowable deductions such as oil trans- portation allowances. The information collected will be used to evaluate the accuracy and reasonableness of transportation allowances deducted from royalties received for the sale of Indian Oil.
