Previously prohibited fruits and
vegetables will be allowed to be imported into the United States
from certain parts of the world. As a condition of entry, they
would be subject to inspection, disinfection at the port of first
arrival. The shipments must be accompanied by a phytosanitary
certificate issued by the national Ministry of Agriculture of the
exporting country. Fruit fly trap findings must be maintained and
made available for APHIS inspection.
