Plant Health authorities in Spain,
Chile, France, Morocco, and Western Sahara wil be responsible for
conducting export certifica tion of each shipment of tomatoes
destined for the U.S. and for issuing a phytosanitary certificate
that will acccompany each shipment. This certificate will certify
that the tomatoes were grown in registered greenhouses. Plant
Health authorities with Medflies must set and maintain fruit fly
traps and maintain records of captures. This information will
provide importers and consumers in the U.S. with additional sources
of tomatoes while continuing to provide protection against the
introducing and ....
