Under FERC-545 natural gas pipelines will be required to amend their tariffs if the proposed requirements in RM96-1-019 "Standards for Business Practices of Interstate Natural Gas Pipelines" are adopted. FERC proposes to amend Section 294.12(c) (1)(ii) of its regulations to require that interstate natural gas pipelines permit releasing shippers to recall capacity at any of the scheduling opportunities provided by interstate pipe- lines.
