Consistent with
OMB's procedures for review of customer satisfaction surveys under
a generic clearance, OMB will review future INS submissions under
this generic clearance within 10 working days. Relevant supporting
materials must be provided along with each submission, including
cost and time burden for each individual survey.

The Premium Processing survey will be
used by the INS to help administer the Premium Processing Program
to refine future service options and to improve performance and
service by continuously monitoring customer satisfaction and
identifying potential problems. We believe this survey falls under
the Generic Clearance of Customer Service Surveys. The INS in
accordance with the requirements of E.O. 12862 and the GPRA, wishes
to conduct customer service surveys. The purpose of such surveys is
to assess needs, identify problems, and plan for programmatic
improvements in the delivery of immigration service.
On behalf of this Federal agency, I certify that
the collection of information encompassed by this request complies
with 5 CFR 1320.9 and the related provisions of 5 CFR
1320.8(b)(3).
