Relevant supporting materials must be provided along with each submission, including: (1) cost and time burden, (2) survey methodology, (3) sampling plan, (4) expected response rates, and (5) methods to minimize non-response. By 4/2004, INS will report on the results of the surveys cleared under this generic clearance, and provide a plan detailing (1) which surveys will continue under this clearance and (2) new surveys anticipated for inclusion under this clearance.

The premium Processing survey will be used by the INS to help administer the Premium Processing Program to refine future service options and to improve performance and service by continuously monitoring customer satisfaction and identifying potential problems. We believe this survey falls under the Generic Clearance of Customer Surveys. The INS in accordance wit with the requirement of E.O. 12862 and the GPRA, wishes to conduc conduct customer service surveys. The purpose of such surveys is to assess needs, identify problems, andplan for programmatic improvements in the delivery of immigration service.
