Approved as an extension, without change, for one year in order to continue idential reporting requirements for the entire grant period. ED will resubmit the annual performance report in one year, in order to make revisions to the report for the new grant cycle in order to increase utility of the collection and allow comparisons with similar programs such as GEAR UP.

The Talent Search and EOC grantees must submit the report annually. The reports are used to evaluate the performance of grantees and to award prior experience points at the end of each project (budget) period. The Department also aggregates the data to provide descriptive information on the programs and to analyze the impact of the program on the academic progress of participating students.
