Abstract: The information collection is required by Sec 11 of PL 106-404. The information will enable DOE to determine whether the Ombudsmen at DOE's laboratories are properly hearing and helping to resolve compliants from outside organizations. The Ombudsmen are appointed by the laboratory Directors, and must be a senior official of the laboratory who is not involved in day-to-day technology partnerships.
