The agency must
continue to monitor response rate and engage in appropriate
followup activities for any survey for which response rate falls
below 80%, including sending of additional copies of the survey to
prevent nonresponse due to loss. The agency must track response
rate for each survey individually, and compare results against
other data sources to detect nonresponse bias. In addition, all web
surveys must be conducted in such a way as to limit distribution
and prevent multiple submissions from the same entity. Otherwise,
the web surveys are not approved.
