Abstract: The Rule implements the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act Title XIII of Pub. L. No. 105-277, 112 Stat. 2681 (Oct. 21, 1998) which prohibits unfair and deceptive acts and practices in collecting and using personally identifiable information from and about children via the Internet.
