Abstract: Federal and State Wildlife agencies in the United States work cooperatively to monitor mourning dove populations. The use of Form 3-159 by these agencies provides information that is critical to the annual assessment of the status of mourning dove populations in North America. This assessment is an integral part of the process for establishing annual hunting regulations for mourning doves.
