The Quick Response Information System
(QRIS) is comprised of two types of surveys, one oriented towards
elementary and secondary school and library issues, the Fast
Response Survey System (FRSS) and the second intended to address
issues in postsecondary education, the Postsecondary Education
Quick Information System (PEQIS). All the surveys conducted the
QRIS are required to inform current policy issues for which there
are no other timely and/or appropriate data available. In recent
years, surveys have been conducted on topics as diverse as distance
education in postsecondary education, services for students with
disabilities.
On behalf of this Federal agency, I certify that
the collection of information encompassed by this request complies
with 5 CFR 1320.9 and the related provisions of 5 CFR
1320.8(b)(3).

the proposed collection of information, that the certification
