Abstract: This benchmark survey will collect data on foreign direct invest- ment in the U.S. to be used in the formulation of Government policy and will serve as a base from which data collected in sample surveys can be expanded to universe estimates. The data collected will include information required for compilation of the international transactions, international investment position and national income and product accounts of the United States.
