EPA, under the Resource Conservation
and Recovery Act of 1976 (RCRA), is amending the Corrective Action
Managment Units (CAMUs) regulations (originally established
regulations applicable to CAMUs at 40 CFR Part 264, Subpart S) to
more specifically define the eligibility of wastes to be
potentially managed in CAMUs, establish treatment requirements for
wastes managed in CAMUs, and set technical standards for CAMUs.
With regard to paperwork requirements, the proposed rule clarifies
the types of informa- tion that facilities should submit at 40 CFR
264.552(d)(1)-(3) and requires notification for groundwater
releases ...
