This amendments would provide owners or operators alternatives to existing monitoring requirements for EAF control systems. The changes are being made in response to a request to reopen the NSPSs by the affected industry. The changes will not remove any of the rules' requirements, but will add alternative monitoring options that will provide owners and operators more flexibility in complying with the rules.
