This survey is to identify female, reproductive aged twin pairs in which both co-twins are living and at least one co-twin is likely to have PCOS. Twins meeting the study criteria will be used as a resoruce for future studies aimed at identifying the environmental factors important to PCOS development. The Mid-Atlantic Twin Registry will administer the survey which was designed to be simple, direct, and easily completed in 10 minutes. Questions involve period irregularity and evidence of hyperandrogenism. The subjects will also be asked about their willingness to participate in furture PCOS studies.
