Part 13 of 25 CFR concerns the
jurisdictional authority in child custody cases. The information
requested from the tribes is used to decide the tribe's ability to
exercise their jurisdic- tion in child custody cases. The tribes
petition for reassump- tion of jurisdiction and submit a plan for
carry out the respon- sibilities of Pub L 95-608 (25 USC
1952).
