months. The Jobs for Veterans Act amended the reporting
requirements for Federal Contractors. VETS is in the process of
developing implementing regulations and revising the form. OMB
expects VETS will accomplish this within the 18 month approval
period._Prior to resubmission, VETS will re-evaluate the burden
estimate in light of public comments, new reporting requirements
and changes in the veteran population.

The Veterans Annual Report from
Contractors required by U.S.C. 4212(d), from entities with
contracts of $25,000 or more with Federals departments or agencies,
to report the number of special disabled, Vietnam-era, and other
eligible veterans in the workforce by job category and hiring
locations, number of employees hired and of those, the number of
special disabled, Vietnam-era and other eligible veterans.
