Abstract: In Rm02-4-000, FERC proposes to make specific changes to its regulations to address the appropriate treatment of critical energy infrastructure information (CEII) in the aftermath of 9-11-2001 terrorist attacks on the US. The proposed ruel offers a long-term and more efficient alternative to the handling of requests for previously public documents than the Freedom of Information Act which FERC used as an interim measure following 9-11-2001. These interim measures were establishes in PL02-1-000 FERC's Policy Statement which removed from easy public access certain documents that previously had been public.
