Abstract: AoA has awarded a cooperative agreement to the Family Caregiver Alliance to examine the growth and development of services and funding for support of family caregivers. Through a 50-state survey, this project will: 1) increase the understanding of Federal and state-funded caregiver support programs; and 2) assist the AoA and the aging network in program development and identification of best practices to improve the effectiveness of the program and its coordinaton with other caregiver policy initiatives.
