Request to not print expiration date on one-time, customer
satisfaction surveys granted. All other surveys will be, evaluated
on a case by case basis. As it has been doing for six, years, DOL
will send a copy of each collection under this generic clearance to
OMB for review prior to the intitiation of each, project. OMB has
10 working days to respond to the request. It is our understanding
that collections under this generic clearance, will not supplement
regular instruments used to assess compliance levels, costs,
resource commitments or evaluation. To the extent, practicable,
surveys approved under this package will collect, statistically
valid information. DOL should conduct the phone, number of the BLS
staff member who reviewed each package when, submitting it to
OMB.

The Department of Labor is seeking
clearance for customer satisfaction surveys and conference
evaluations to gather opinions from customers and conference
attendees about the quality of services provided by the Department.
This is part of an ongoing process to improve DOL
programs.
On behalf of this Federal agency, I certify that
the collection of information encompassed by this request complies
with 5 CFR 1320.9 and the related provisions of 5 CFR
1320.8(b)(3).
