The attached application is to be used
by U.S. founders or sponsors in applying for grant assistance from
USAID's Office of American Schools and Hospitals Abroad on behalf
of their institutions overseas. ASHA conducts a competitive grant
program and grant decisions are based on an annual comparative
review of all applications requesting assistance in that fiscal
year, pursuant to Section 214 of the Foreign Assistance Act of
1961, as amended.
On behalf of this Federal agency, I certify that
the collection of information encompassed by this request complies
with 5 CFR 1320.9 and the related provisions of 5 CFR
1320.8(b)(3).
